Not far from the heart of San Antonio, the Young Men’s Leadership Academy helps boys in grades 4-8 build a strong foundation in self-discipline for external success.
The R+L Carriers Hometown Showcase rolled into San Antonio and Grand Prairie, Texas this month, forging connections with students from the Lone Star State. Two local schools took an interactive look at transportation and logistics, browsing info on over 11 HD TVs. R+L Carriers employees were also on hand to share what they’ve learned in their careers, answering questions from a handful of listeners. We reserved time for other activities too, holding an interactive, educational scavenger hunt around the hauler!

Throughout the day, students surrounded the R+L Carriers Hometown Showcase, trying out the driver simulator and expressing their excitement at the experience. One day, we might welcome them as new employees in one of our three Texas service centers or one of the others across the United States!
Dubiski Career High School
Dubiski Career High School focuses on equipping students with the skills needed for 21st-century professions. Our team saw potential customer service, software development, and project management workers beginning their career paths. In our visit to Grand Prairie, we answered several transportation and logistics questions, demonstrating the office environment with aid from the R+L Carriers Hometown Showcase. It was a busy day, so we broke out the football and cornhole games for some additional fun.
